Carnival beyond carnival.Presented by Group.BR and Pandeiro Project, the ecstasy of Carnival is brought to Brooklyn at this one-evening event. Held Saturday, July 12 at 9:00 P.M. at Lot 45 Bushwick, tickets are only $15 in advance or $20 at the door with Brazilian snacks and entertainment such as:
- DJ Lepaux and DJ Greg Caz playing the best Brazilian rhythms with dancing all night long
- One of Brazil’s best pandeiro players, Sergio Krakowski, presenting “Pandeiro + Project”, an amazing dialogue between pandeiro, electronic music, and videos.
- Performances by Group.BR from the play Infinite While it Lasts – as well as other surprises
- Plus exhibited works of artists João Henrique Brandao, Paulo Govêa, and Germano Penalva
