Since super storm Sandy ripped through New York, neighborhoods in all the boroughs have been reeling from the effects. For some, the enormity of the loss is just sinking in. Although we’ve seen a lot of help in a lot of places, and some great people have stopped by to lend their efforts, more is still needed. Want to help out? Not sure how? Volunteer in Brooklyn.

Many groups have been newly formed to help direct and coordinate local efforts, and many existing organizations are re-channeling their strengths to get people and supplies out there to help those most in need. There are lots of great ways to volunteer in Brooklyn.

The generosity we’ve seen so far has been amazing – Keep it coming – Here’s how!
