The folks at the annual Celebrate Brooklyn festival have done it again! For things to do in Brooklyn this summer, you’ll find a rockin’ good time full of celebratory fun with this year’s line-up. The collection of local and international musicians, artists, dancers and more have been announced, with performances at the Prospect Park Bandshell by Jimmy Cliff, Lyle Lovett, Ballet Hispanico, and much, much more. There is even a “Muppet Movie” Sing-A-Long and a 35th-anniversary screening of “Saturday Night Fever” with an opening set by Bee Gees tribute band, Tragedy.

Besides entertainment, there will be plenty of tasty foods to be had, with menu items from The Farm on Adderley being provided again. This summer’s food items will range from roast beef, pickled shitake and harissa on a bun; to watermelon, goat cheese, and pistachio on a stick; to smoked haddock, gits, and green tomato in a cup.

Celebrate Brooklyn shows have been organized by BRIC Arts | Media | Bklyn and are free, though a $3 suggested contribution can be given at the gate.
